Blogger delight

All but a few of my closest friends have left for university. I intended to also go, but as explained in a previous post, my plans quickly and frequently changed. A friend of mine Bronte Paterson (also a keen blogger) is the only other person I know taking a gap year, making us the perfect travelling pair(I'm sure you'll be hearing more of our plans.)
An evening of making peanut butter cookies and blog editing prompted is to brainstorm some ideas for our new Youtube channel. I don't want to reveal too much just yet, but it will be full of baking, beauty and clothing hauls with everything from bake offs to make up tutorials so I hope you are all just as excited as we are! As soon as we bring out our first video, you guys will be the first to know and if anyone's interested in collaborating, no matter how well known you are, drop me an email and il be more then happy to get in contact.
Happy blogging!

Oh my..

I can't not let you guys know about these yogurts. When I pictured myself becoming a blogger Deliciously Ella was my inspiration. A women who blogs about simply declious, but healthy recipes (along with numerous other things.) I wanted to be able to blog about recipes I had found and used to create great tasting food, but I have found that along with having to now work full time, finding time to cook is proving difficult! So  I've decided that along with the occasional recipes and recipe books I will inform you of some tasty treats I have discovered.
My first tasty treat comes from Muller. Ever since I was little me and my sister loved corner yogurts. Even now my mum still buys them for us, but recently a new corner yogurt caught her eye. This time she brought home Bliss corner yogurts; whipped Greek yogurt and oh my they are delicious! You can buy them with numerous flavour compotes(my favourite being raspberry), but what interested me the most was the texture of the yogurt which was almost a mousse. I've consumed way to many pots of these in the past week so I truly recommend you all trying them!

My Simple Cure to a Cold

Its flu season and as per usual I am sat at home with a cup of Lemsip in one hand and a box of tissues in the other. Everyone gets the dreaded cold once in a while and in my time I have tried numerous remedies, but none ever seem to really work. However I have finally found a simple(temporary) cure! You want to know what it is? Its water and lemon. Thats it! All you need to do is fill a large water bottle with water, slice some lemon and put it in the water. You can either drink it straight away or leave it in the fridge for a few hours so the lemon has time to infuse with the water. Drink plenty of this and you will feel so much better within hours. A new found love of mine is Vapour rub. My other half is forever taking care of me and brought me some in hope it would help, and it did! My last cure is sleep. Doesnt get any simpler then that.

The little things

So a few days ago was my 19th birthday (yay, happy birthday me). I spent the morning at a spa with my mother then had lunch at our local pub and finished the day off with another meal out with my boyfriend.
Usually people get excited about the presents and the money but this year was slightly different for me. It made me truly realise how important the little things in life are. My boyfriend absolutely spoilt me with a Michael Kors bag( the most amazing bag known to man!) but what managed to bring me to tears was when he announced he had another surprise for me the next day. It doesn't seem that exciting, but he was infact meant to be working and had got the day off especially. Our activity was making a cake which he had prepared all the ingredients for and it was the fact he had prepared and planned this all that really touched me.
I also received a present from my boyfriends parents. His mother makes amazing jewellery and gave me a pair of beautiful earrings.. I love seeing her create new pieces in her workshop so I love being able to wear something she has made!

Aren't they beautiful? If anyone is interested in having a closer look at her others pieces of jewellery then you can look at her Facebook page posted below. It's really worth a look.
